I am such a web 2.0 junky… I’ve gotten rid of pidgin in favor of digsby because it lets me track my myspace/facebook accounts.. i have a grand central account because.. well because I can.. and.. i’m absolutely in love with netvibes.. damn that website and it’s ability to consolidate all my favorite news/information sites!!.. damn you!!!

The past few months have been kind of a whirl.. you ever think you’re not doing something right?.. like.. you’re unsure of the decisions you’ve made and the consequences of those actions?.. yeah.. I’ve been kind of going through those motions.. but I think i’m on a good path.. at least I’m hoping i am..  performance reviews are up at work.. and I’m hoping that when my time comes.. I hope I did good last year… despite all the bitching and moaning i may sometimes do.. i love my job.. it’s a good job.. for a good company.. and i’m happy at the chance i was given.. so.. here’s keeping my fingers crossed..

i was gonna post a lot of news stuff.. but i’m refraining.. and hoping you’ll hit me up on the im’s so that way I can send you those links personally.. find me why don’t ya.

And as we wait patiently for spy satellites to fall on our head, our thoughts go out to the Thuper Tuesday events that are going on around the country right now. If I could, I would vote.. but being that I am not eligible to vote.. I guess I’ll leave that up to the rest of you..

You hear all about the RIAA and MPAA making all this whining about being in it for the artists, but when you really get down to it, they’re in it for themselves.. they’re a bunch of money grubbing bastards.. and the writers strike.. oh come on!.. it’s just the rich moaning about getting richer.. blah blah blah.. oh i’m not making enough money from royalties.. well.. then you should’ve negotiated better to begin with.. the internet took a lot of industries by storm.. and a lot of them weren’t prepared for it. Look at cable companies and them trying to charge more for people who use higher bandwidth even after they advertise unlimited fast speed internet. When will people say they’ve had enough and stand up against big business. Ahh the all mighty dollar, how much we love you, but at the same time how much we wish there wasn’t such a big need for it.

It’s been a crazy last few weeks… with projects at work and outside of work, I’ve been finding it hard to find some personal time for myself… I’m trying to keep up with reading the news and what not.. but I’ve also found out.. I suck at photoshop and css.  I’m a programmer and sometimes when it comes to design, I fall soo short.  I should learn to utilize better css skills at the same time, beef up my programming skills.  I have a project coming up that should require me to get better at both skills, but at the same time I would like to do something personal that is useful, like bring back a newsletter or what not.  Someone hit me up.  Let’s see what we can do.
