Something this way comes
I took the plunge and bought something I don’t know anything about. My perusing of the internet has taken me to some fantastic places, but none more so interesting (at this moment in time) than The Something Store. For $10 you can purchase something random and take a chance that they send you something interesting. For $10 I figured, why not?
I’m waiting to see what I get, and I’ll keep you posted as to what it is, but in the meantime, why don’t you take the chance too? Who knows, maybe you’ll get something interesting.
Perhaps one of the most unsettling things that I have read today is Comcast’s decision to start injecting their own ads into their users web traffic and pass it off as “enhanced user experience”. I don’t run ads here on Nulledge, but my hope is that if I ever do, Comcast won’t unilaterally decide to insert their ads over my own and cheat me out of my revenue. Why do they think that this is a good idea? Why is it OK with them to throw their weight around and steal revenue and yet cry and moan when people use a little too much of their bandwidth.
With all the world focuses on China and it’s recent earth quake and high death-toll don’t forget about Myanmar and the cyclone that hit it. More people have died there and more possibly might from lack of clean water and food. Donate to the Red Cross for both disasters. In the meantime, don’t forget to buckle up your beer.
