Fathers Day Spanking
by Ranil on Jun.13, 2008
Could someone please do me a favor and spank the RIAA? Never have I heard of a more despicable company and I read a lot of the consumerist! Has piracy cost music industries revenue? Perhaps, but probably not as much as they claim. Maybe it’s just the lack of good music that’s cost the industry money. The RIAA like Metallica are a bunch of whiny cry babies that are just a tad sue happy. They just don’t get technology. I really hope someone slaps them just to kind of wake them up to the new age we’re in.
It’s been a busy week, not too many updates coming along. I watched the midnight showing of Incredible Hulk last night and I must say, I wasn’t disappointed. It was a lot better than the first one and not a bad comic book movie overall. Alas, it is a work day and I’m trying to find solace in my Grande Americano keeping me up. Edward Norton was an interesting choice to play Bruce Banner and the graphics lived up to what it should have been the first time around. The plot of the movie was well done without having a lot of cheesy flashbacks to the original Hulk movie. All in all, not a bad movie.
As I sit and wait patiently now for Wanted, Dark Knight, and X – Files 2 I must wonder about all the other movies that are in the works. Did you know there’s a new Robocop coming out? Or what about the new Mummy movie?
But those movies can wait – there are more important things to do. This weekend is Katelyn Haynes birthday party! My little god daughter turned a whopping 2 years old this Tuesday and oddly enough shares the same birthday as newcomer Henry Joseph Barton (Duarte). Congratulations to Wendy and Jose. I hear Wendy did all the work, but it’s Jose’s job to change the diapers. To all the fathers that I know out there, Happy Fathers Day, may you all get ties!
