Stepping out of the dark ages - Voicemail as it should be

My new PPC (the HTC Touch in case you haven’t read) is now sporting two new features. First a crack on the body thanks to shoddy manufacturing. I need to have it replaced under warranty but don’t really want to downgrade the phone from its current settings. Thank you for creating such a crappy case for a good phone. The other feature - visual . With technology being the way it is these days why are we still using a crappy system? If you have the iPhone then you know what visual is. It lets you pick the messages you want to hear and skip over the rest without having to hear them. Because frankly, some messages you just don’t care to hear. Well, I don’t have an iPhone but I did find a place that offers visual for the low cost of FREE!

YouMail is now my default provider! Verizon has decided that they too want to get into the visual arena, but they are going to charge for something that should be free! I say don’t bother with that and just head on over to and sign up for a free account. Aside the low price (free) and the fact that you can now access your through any browser, the ability to create customized greetings for individual or groups of callers is really appealing. If you like the messages that people leave you, download them for posterity. If you add a photo, then when you leave a message for someone else who uses your picture shows up. Yeah I know, it’s a minor feature, but it’s fun!

Look, if you want to stick around to using the boring old way of doing , that’s your call. But if you think you’re ready for the next step, sign up for YouMail and I’ll leave you a message so you can see my avatar. Or just look to the upper right corner on the front page. That’s my avatar too.
