In terms of comfort food Ramen has to rank up there with a nice Filipino breakfast. Braving the cold winds in the Valley my friends and I decided to head out to one of my favorite Ramen places outside of Little Tokyo – Kyushu Ramen. This place became a local favorite of mine a few years due to its location and its selection of different kinds of Ramen. The flowers came today.  Sitting at my desk they serve as a reminder of how long I’ve been in the circling in the same place.  Three years ago I left a “promising” job at Iced Out Gear and began working in Downtown LA.  I ditched the cargo pants for slacks and a tie.  I switched to v-neck sweaters and topcoats.  Did I change?  Perhaps.  Am I still the same – more so than I realize.
