Mexican food in Sydney

Coming from Los Angeles you learn to love a few things one of them being Mexican food. Outside of LA (and of course Mexico) finding good Mexican food has been quite a disappointment. I miss the taco trucks of LA and their burritos filled with carne asada. I’m craving the tastes and smells a land thousands of miles away.

Braving it once more I decided to try the local Mexican food of Guzman y Gomez here in Sydney and found yet again there is no other experience than Mexican food back on the other side of the world. There was something lacking in the flavor. Too much salsa and beans and not enough meat left me wanting. Perhaps the attention to a healthy version of the taco put me off. Whatever the reason, my search for good Mexican food continues.
