Phone calls from a Black Hole

So as we wait for the newly formed blackholes created by the Large Hadron Collier to swallow the world as we know it I thought it would be prudent to get back into the business of blogging. I haven’t been able to keep up with doing big Something New’s every week, but I try to do little things in order to fulfill the requirement. Sometimes it’s as simple as eating dinner alone at Masa while reading the paper. Other times it’s just doing something I never thought I would do, like drive to Orange County on a whim but I still find time to get back to my home base and recoup. I think that is an important part of being yourself.
Force Feeding Chocolate…

With our test database down at work I find myself with strangely nothing to do. A lot of our coding/testing happens on the test database so when it goes down the programmers at work are kind of left in a certain limbo. So now I find myself catching up on past news. Did you read about the UK politician who compares husband rape to force feeding a woman chocolate? Well, with people like that in power who can complain about the state of the world?
