This is long overdue. I should have posted this up weeks ago but I’ve been a bit lazy and tied up with other things. Weeks ago a couple of cousins and I decided to meet up after work for a few drinks. This of course quickly degenerated into a night of almost 4 liters of Franziskaner and a variety of flavors of schnapps. Yes, drinking in Sydney has never tasted so good.

Something New: Week 15 – Drinks At The Ice Bar

You can thank New Zealand for two things: the great scenery from the Lord Of The Rings movies and the craptastic overpriced sensation that is Minus 5. The idea is sound – create a vodka bar where the vodka is served as freezing cold as the furniture. The implementation however, that’s something else.

Company Party 2008

With the holidays around the corner I made my way to the Marriot hotel to celebrate my companies annual christmas party. This is my last Christmas party with my company and so I decided to make the most of this event to mingle and talk to all my coworkers who made my time at the company worthwhile. The highlight of the day proved to be the after party drinks that I had with a few co-workers at Nick and Stef’s.

Halloween 2008 – Free Drinks and Elvis

When Elvis plays people listen especially when Elvis decides to let the lyrical stylings of 80’s bands do the talking. Halloween 2008 found me in Glendale drinking free Hennessey and Coke at the Sidebar. A friend of mine decided to rock his 20’s gangster costume while the rest of our crowd decided we were too cool to wear costumes. As we drank our free drinks and rocked out to 80’s music played by an Armenian cover band one can’t help but ponder why I had $20 dollars of uneaten candy sitting at home.
